Phlebotomy Technician Diploma Curriculum
Concorde’s phlebotomy technician diploma provides foundational medical and health care concepts along with practical skills for taking blood samples.
In this hands-on program, you can learn to:
- Take patient histories
- Perform blood draws
- Log and record samples
- Follow procedures for controlling infection
- Understand the health care system

The knowledge and skills this program teaches can prepare you for a range of third-party certifications† in phlebotomy, including those from:

These certification tests are optional. If you want to pursue certification, you should familiarize yourself with the requirements for the exams you are interested in taking. Concorde will cover testing fees for one attempt at the AMCA exam for interested graduates.**
If you’re interested in gaining additional knowledge and skills, the credit you earn in the Phlebotomy Technician Diploma can be applied toward our nine-month* Medical Assistant Diploma program.
