Program Overview

Dental assistants do some of everything in the dental office. From updating patient records to sterilizing instruments and assisting the dentist and hygienist during procedures, their role is versatile, fast-paced, and can make a real difference in the lives of patients. With Concorde in Miramar, you can be ready to pursue a dental assistant career in months, not years.

Dental Assistant Curriculum

Concorde’s dental assistant diploma teaches foundational concepts of dentistry, including dental anatomy, human physiology, and the different dental specialties in as few as eight months.*

You’ll learn to take impressions, make temporaries, create models of teeth, make bleaching trays and assist the dentist and hygienist during procedures. You’ll also help keep the front office operating efficiently.

Blended Learning Format
Our program combines online coursework with hands-on labs and an externship. You’ll complete some of your theory and lecture coursework online, meaning you can reduce the amount of time you spend on campus and gain more control over your schedule. It’s all part of how we support your success.
