Program Overview

Interested in medical office work but also want to gain hands-on experience with patients? Train to become a medical assistant with Concorde.

Medical assistants assist with the day-to-day operations of medical offices and or facilities. A fully trained medical assistant can provide the support doctors and nurses need to do their work safely and efficiently.

Medical Assistant Curriculum

The medical assistant diploma program at Concorde covers medical front office procedures, computer applications, medical record keeping, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pathology and clinical skills including vital sign measurements, blood draws, injections, EKG and other laboratory diagnostic procedures.

Blended Learning Format
Our medical assistant diploma program offers you more control over your schedule with a blend of online coursework and hands-on labs. You’ll complete some of your theory and lecture coursework online, meaning you can reduce the amount of time you spend on campus while covering the same amount of material as a traditional, fully in-person program.
