As an LVN, you could do everything from help to feed new babies, change bandages in acute care, keep chemotherapy patients comfortable during treatment, or help older patients dress. You’ll also update patient charts and communicate important information to the rest of the health care team.

You can pursue your vocational nursing diploma in a full-time, daytime format or part-time in the evenings and weekends. Daytime students can complete their diploma in as few as 12 months.
