Program Overview

Want to play an important role in helping people gain access to the medication that can improve their lives? Train to become a pharmacy technician with Concorde in Memphis. In as few as 8 months, you can learn to compound (mixing) medications for retail and hospital settings, perform administrative and insurance billing duties, and provide customer service.

Pharmacy Technician Curriculum

This AAS program combines foundational college-level general knowledge with pharmacology concepts and office administration procedures. It includes hands-on training in compounding, plus an externshipᶛ to help you understand how concepts you learn in the classroom apply in the real world.

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Pharmacology I and II with Lab
  • Introduction to Pharmacy Practice
  • Compounding and Aseptic Techniques
  • Microbiology
  • Externship
