Phlebotomy Technician Diploma Curriculum
Concorde’s phlebotomy technician diploma provides foundational medical and health care concepts along with practical skills for taking blood samples.
In this hands-on program, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to:
- Take patient histories
- Perform blood draws
- Log and record samples
- Follow procedures for controlling infection
- Understand the health care system
You’ll also develop communication skills for working within medical teams and learn to support patients who may be anxious about having blood samples taken.

- The National Center for Competency Testing© (NCCT)
- The National Healthcareer Association® (NHA)
These certification tests are optional. If you want to pursue certification, you should familiarize yourself with the requirements for the exams you are interested in taking. Concorde will cover testing fees for one attempt at the AMCA exam for interested graduates.**
