Program Overview

Medication can change lives. By training for a career as a pharmacy technician, you can learn to help people gain access to the treatment they need to feel better. Pharmacy techs help fill prescriptions by compounding (mixing) medications. They also perform administrative duties and provide customer service to pharmacy patients.

Pharmacy Technician Curriculum

This diploma program combines foundational knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, office administration procedures, and more. It includes hands-on training in compounding, plus an externshipá¶› to help you understand how concepts you learn in the classroom apply in the real world.
