Program Overview

Nurses are the front line of the health care system. Their compassion and caring nature contribute to the well-being of patients across the lifespan. The role of nurses has grown and changed with medical science and the needs of the health care system. According to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 77.4% of employers who responded to their 2021 survey on nursing school graduate employment had a strong preference for hiring nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).[1]

If you want to start training for a nursing career, Concorde Kansas City can help. Our new BSN program provides the blend of knowledge and skills you need to prepare for a lifelong career that changes lives—with no previous nursing experience required.

In less than three years,* you will receive instruction in essential knowledge about patient populations, health science, nursing research and the health care system as you build and practice hands-on patient care skills. We’ll also help you prepare to take the NCLEX-RN exam and cover your fees for your first attempt at the test.

BSN Degree Format

Concorde aims to make earning your BSN more flexible through a blend of online and on-campus learning. You’ll have the opportunity to complete general education coursework and some lecture material for your nursing courses online, then come to campus for in-person learning.

Gain confidence in your patient care skills with 300 hoursᶛᶛ of hands-on training in our advanced simulation labs. Practice those skills while you complete 675 hoursᶛᶛ of supervised clinical rotations with our local health care partners.
