Surgical technologists keep the operating room safe and organized. It’s their responsibility to make sure the surgical field is sterile, and to ensure that surgeons and surgical nurses have all the instruments and materials they need.

In Concorde’s surgical technology program, you’ll have the opportunity to gain the skills you need to perform these important functions in the OR. The program combines classroom instruction, practice in the labs and clinical rotationsᶛᶛ in real-world health care facilities.

Surgical Technology Degree Curriculum

Our associate degree program is designed to equip you to pursue a career as a surgical technologist in as few as 17 months.* When you graduate, you should be eligible to take the National Certifying Examination for Surgical Technologists as sponsored by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).†
